This is a wine that embodies the very essence of Burgundy. In fact, the Burgundy Côte d'Or appellation, recognised in 2017 as a supplementary geographical designation, solely applies to wines produced in the 40 municipalities encompassing the Côtes de Beaune and Nuits. Domaine Battault crafts this wine from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from 14 hectares of non-specifically classified vineyards located between the Santenay and Maranges regions in the southernmost part of the Côte d’Or. The wine has been aged in wood for a period of 12 to 14 months. Refined and elegant, it offers all the sensations that a fine Burgundy should convey.
