This wine showcases a distinctive Atlantic character, crafted from very old bush-trained vines of Maturana Tinta and Mazuelo originating from the 0.6-hectare vineyard of lallanada de Sojón, which was planted in the 1940s and features over eleven varieties, currently cultivated organically.
The wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation for 20 days at ambient cellar temperatures, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation in barrel. It is carefully aged in bottle for two years prior to release.
Expect powerful aromas marked by floral notes, including violet and tulip, alongside a mineral character with hints of ink and flint. The wine evolves towards fruity notes reminiscent of jam. It presents a tannic profile that is somewhat rustic yet efficient, brightened by refreshing acidity. Production is limited to just 1,200 bottles.
