Description

This Porto Tawny is a blend of relatively young wines aged in large oak casks (20 Hl.) from the 10 hectares of vineyard that Pedro Carmo owns on the steep slopes of the Alijò valley, located in the upper reaches of the Douro. Here, a variety of different grape varieties are intermingled. The wine is extremely delicate and intense, reflecting the slow oxidation process it has undergone during its time in wood. It contains 97 grams of sugar per litre.
