Château Gravas is a Sauternes wine made exclusively from 100% Sémillon grapes, sourced from the 8 hectares of vineyard owned by the Claverie and Bernard family since the mid-19th century. The wine is produced in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 18 months in oak barrels. It is a refined, rounded, and well-balanced wine, boasting exceptional aromatic complexity with flavours of candied fruit and white flowers. This Sauternes beautifully reflects the exceptional mineral terroir of Haut Barsac. It is cellar-worthy for up to 40 years. Due to its freshness, this wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif, paired with foie gras, white meats, scallops, and desserts. It is also recommended for spicy and exotic dishes.
