Formiga de Vellut is one of the most renowned wines from Priorat, having graced the table at the Nobel Prize dinner. Beyond this recognition, the wine stands out for its honesty and character representative of the Priorat region. Born from the eleven hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards owned by the Pérez and Dalmau family in the municipality of El Molar, it develops its personality over an eight-month maturation period in oak barrels, primarily French. Smooth and luscious, it is not devoid of the mineral notes typical of a classic Priorat.
