After purchasing a small piece of land in the municipality of San Climent, Menorca, the Solano brothers, who are self-confessed wine enthusiasts, decided to embark on the cultivation of vines and the production of wine. After several years of hard work, the first Sa Forana was unveiled in 2008. This wine, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, and Syrah, is aged in new oak barrels for three months before maturing further in second and third-year barrels. If kept in the bottle, the wine will continue to develop. Today, it presents a luscious character, with sweet tannins and remarkable balance, successfully harmonising the influence of wood with the prominence of a well-ripened fruit background.
